High Moor
The Dartmoor National Park covers 368 square miles, nearly half of which is
heather-covered open moorland punctuated with craggy granite tors. There are more archaeological sites than anywhere else in Europe, ranging from Bronze Age burial sites and stone circles to the remains of forts, ancient dwellings, mines and quarries.
